The Emotional Rein is a collaboration with Neuroscientist Elim Hong from the Sorbonne University in Paris, whom I met during my art residency in Paris and shared research images on the effect of nicotine on the brain. This launched my efforts to artistically translate the science into art for the Sorbonne University’s “Imaging the Future” Festival (originally scheduled for June 2020 and postponed date TBD 2021 due to Covid.
