Seattle Art Museum - Party in the Park 2016
I was invited to participate for a second year to create an installation for Seattle Art Museum’s Annual Fundraiser Party in the Park held at the Olympic Sculpture Park in June. Each year, Seattle artists are selected to create table art installations for the outdoor evening event.
The Game Without Rules features images from maps of Cape Disappointment, Tongue Bay, Pigeon Point, and the Columbia River inlet, the maps have been turned around. Attendees are offered the chance to redesign it as they dine. Should it be developed, returned to nature, or redesigned completely? Look closer, what about those copper sea monsters? It’s all on the table: go play.

February 4, 2016 - Shunpike Windows
I have been selected to install two windows as part of Shunpike's Storefront Program starting February 4, 2016 at the Meydenbauer Center in Bellevue, WA through June 2016.
The two windows, entitled Piling / Peek utilizes mixed media, including woven metal wire, scissor-cut rubber playground balls, vintage dress patterns and other flotsam and jetsam, to explore a surreal, dreamlike vision of what lies above and beneath the surface. Referring to structures and forms that exist in biology, Piling / Peek shifts in scale and substitutes hollow translucence for mass, so that each tableaux feels ethereal and illusory.

May 7, 2015 - Badinage
Join me for the opening of Badinage (a French term for word play), a solo exhibition sponsored by the Mirabella Foundation for their eight Westlake Avenue storefront windows. Opening with the May 2015 South Lake Union Artwalk, it will be on view for six months.
Work for the exhibit combines painting, drawing, forged copper and metal, knit wire, and collage of unique hand-cut rubber elements, to create colorful and intricate musings on the secret dream life of words.

September 5, 2014 - Lamina Lumella
Lamina/Lamella, an immersive installation developed for A Gallery during a month-long artist residency in August 2014, will be opening Friday, September 5, 2014 at 6pm.
Measuring 12 x 7 x 14 feet, Lamina/Lamella is inspired by nature and biology, and utilizes mixed media, including woven metal wire, vintage dress patterns, ping pong balls and other flotsam and jetsam to alter the environment. Large, surreal forms fill the walls and hang from the ceiling, so that the viewer becomes a participant in the installation.
