I attended the Dior Couture exhibition and the Rubens Exhibition within a week, and the fashion imagery started to mash up in my head. Using my photo/drawing/painting collage techniques, where imagery is layered within several pieces of glass, I recontextualized some of the iconic Dior model images, added new "information", and gender-bent some old royalty.

In these photographs, the dimensionality of the layers can not be adequately shown. The actual pieces shift and change subtly as you move around each artwork, layers cast shadows and paint and metallic lines drawn on the glass layers become more and less prominent as the light shifts.
